US Environmental Protection Agency releases letter concurring in general with g2 proposed approach for nicotine-containing product recycling, facilitating the launch of separate Knightshade LLC recycling services.

February 2016

g2 launches its first recycling program for a convenience store chain.

January 2018

g2 becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of new holding company Watterson Brands, LLC, and Scott DeMuth becomes its President.

March 2019

g2’s Findlay operation partners with New Vision Employment Services to provide jobs for individuals with developmental disabilities.

June 2019

Feed the Future program support extended to include environmental conservation organizations, such as the Black Swamp Conservancy.

August 2019

g2 achieves Green Business Bureau “platinum” status for sustainability initiatives within its own operations.

February 2020

g2 receives our first “Silver Medal” rating from corporate social responsibility assessor EcoVadis.

April 2021

g2 moves its headquarters and shipping to a larger leased 117,000 sf. building in Lake Zurich, IL, adding in materials processing similar to Findlay’s operations.

As the Director of Master Scheduling at g2 revolution, Kurt brings over 25 years of extensive retail, procurement, and logistics expertise to the company. Throughout his distinguished career, Kurt has successfully managed high-performing teams and cultivated lasting supplier relationships, focusing on maximizing program efficiency and end-of-life product refinement. A key member of g2’s Leadership Team, Kurt leverages his experience to optimize day-to-day operations, directs the company’s commitment to sustainable partnerships, and is the primary liaison with the sales team.

Bryon M. Lawrence
VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES & MARKETING

Bryon serves as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at g2 revolution, where he leads a team dedicated to delivering high-quality, personalized service to clients. With over 25 years of experience in environmental services and client relations, Bryon ensures that g2’s recycling solutions meet the unique needs of each customer. His expertise lies in helping businesses implement effective recycling programs while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Bryon’s focus on client satisfaction and operational efficiency has made him a key player in driving g2 revolution’s customer-centric approach to sustainable waste management.

Matt Wenc
SENIOR DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Matt is the Senior Director of Information Technology at g2 Revolution, where he oversees the development and management of all IT systems and the g2 IT team. He has a proven track record of designing and implementing core company software, new cybersecurity policies, and custom APIs to automate and connect systems. Matt has also spearheaded green initiatives, including the rollout of sustainable hardware and servers powered by clean renewable energy. His focus on operational efficiency and cross functional collaboration ensures that technology solutions meet the needs of every department at g2.

Lou Kuhnle
SENIOR DIRECTOR OF CLIENT ACCOUNTS

Lou is the Senior Director of Client Accounts at g2 revolution, bringing over 20 years of experience in retail environmental services. Lou holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Findlay’s Hazardous Materials Management Program. Throughout his career, Lou has held key operational and sales roles at g2, where he has successfully coordinated and overseen large-scale, nationwide projects. He has developed and managed a wide range of recycling alternatives for hazardous waste and non-recyclable materials, particularly in the retail sector. Prior to joining g2, Lou worked as an Environmental Compliance Manager in the custom coating and energy industries. His deep expertise in environmental compliance and waste management makes Lou a trusted advisor to g2’s clients in navigating complex sustainability challenges.

Sandy Brunk
CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

As Chief Operations Officer at g2 revolution, Sandy is responsible for overseeing the company's day-to-day operations and ensuring the smooth execution of all client programs. With extensive experience in operations management, Sandy plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring that g2’s solutions align with client needs. Her leadership has been integral in streamlining g2’s processes, ensuring client satisfaction, and optimizing resource allocation. Sandy is committed to fostering a collaborative, results-driven environment, enabling g2 revolution to consistently meet and exceed its operational goals.

Scott DeMuth, CEM
PRESIDENT

Scott serves as the President of g2 revolution, a role he has held since 2018 after a successful tenure in various positions within the company. With over 30 years of experience in environmental management, Scott is a certified environmental expert, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA from Roosevelt University. He is also a Certified Environmental Manager (CEM). Before joining g2, Scott worked as an environmental consultant advising commercial, retail, and industrial clients. His expertise includes hazardous waste management, recycling, and broader environmental strategies. Scott has also served as the Environmental Director for two national retail chains, where he oversaw environmental operations for thousands of stores. As President of g2, Scott drives strategic direction, ensuring g2 revolution remains at the forefront of sustainability and environmental innovation.
